2)Mold,.... cement,With refractory(liner),i've made something like this before X 40,000 lbs. so i figure

Fri, September 8, 2006 - 5:59 PMyou couldn't blow them but you could slump them in a kiln if it is soft glass, not borocilicate. -

Sat, September 9, 2006 - 12:27 PMHi,BKLYN, Thank's for the note.
So scrap glass(no Borosilicate?)lacks charactor?Such as..............
Slump, this is like perhaps a-- pancake--(Sandwhich glass?) that one might squish in a mold?Could work.
I've considered doing something like this for some time, someone mentioned using recycled
glass(must be tons of it out there) for concrete cast, and it reminded me,so ik though there must be a tribe X-pert,,,,,,,
Myself,.. good at developing molds/tecnique -

Sat, September 16, 2006 - 6:33 PMwhy slump it or blow it when with a little co2 and a bottle cap you have a highE micro windows good for stacking also even with bottles of the same source the bacthes of glass might not be coefficent causing your hard work to crack and we all know crack killz
trade your paradime for a pear of nickles just my 2cents
